- Fresh Calzones from the oven, w authentic Charlies Pizza recipes (Kings Birthday 1st)
- Amaranto Pasta Cucina on site (Matariki 22nd)
- Build your own platters from the Pantry
- Local wine tasting & by the glass from 12-5 (take-home bottles available)
We occasionally host Events and Feature Nights, embracing some of the best produce and entertainment our region has to offer.
We fire up the Pizza oven over the Summer months, and work with our Pantry to create and serve rustic deli-style platters and picnics all year round.
Tastings and Exhibitions. We’re constantly on the look-out for new produce that fits with our core Values, and occasionally we have produce tastings or exhibitions to present new ranges available in store.

With gardens galore, we’re beautifully suited to offer open-air entertainment. From kids' parties to private pizza nights, Charlies can help create a welcoming setting for your get-together... be it for cheeky wedding photos, a birthday surprise, or just a good catch-up with old friends.

Charlies wood-fired pizzas are a summer holiday specialty. Just like our gelato, we make them the authentic Italian way. We prepare our own pizza dough from scratch in our kitchen, leaving it to proof overnight. Each summer morning we fire up the outdoor oven with local mānuka and start serving the freshest and tastiest traditional-style pizzas you will find.
Charlies pizzas are only typically available during the summer school holidays, normally from mid-December through to February.
